WHY CHOOSE RAPIGEL? RAPIGEL promotes a similar effect to an ice pack. RAPIGEL is far more convenient to transport and can be used in situations where ice or cold hosing may be inconvenient or impossible.
Menthol in RAPIGEL is a widely recognised cooling agent when applied to the skin. Menthol is thought to stimulate the nerves that perceive cold and depress those that perceive pain. Specific nerve receptors respond in a similar manner to cold as they do to menthol. The menthol in RAPIGEL is an alternative or an additional aid to traditional cold therapy.
RAPIGEL relieves soreness due to over exertion, fatigue or bruising. Menthol and camphor stimulate the circulation to damaged tissue when applied topically. This decreases the chance of bruises forming when applied early and may assist in the removal of dead blood cells once a bruise has formed.
Menthol and camphor have been used for thousands of years for the relief of pain in many areas of the body. Menthol and camphor, found in RAPIGEL, are part of a group of chemicals known as “counter-irritants” that relieve pain by irritating the sensory nerve endings to alter or offset pain in the underlying muscle or joints served by the same nerves.
Aids in reducing inflammation and swelling. Menthol and camphor have a mild anti-inflammatory effect. This assists in the repair of both acute and chronic joint and tendon injuries.
Acute injuries – reduces the inflammatory response when applied immediately after an injury has occurred. Will also assist the healing process when applied for the duration of the injury by increasing circulation to the affected area.
Chronic injuries – in the case of older or more chronic inflammation menthol and camphor increase circulation and reduce inflammation.
No mess - RAPIGEL does not leave a sticky residue on hands, application sites or bandages. RAPIGEL may actually assist in the removal of residues from bandages or other products.
COMPOSITION: Menthol 20mg/g, Camphor 6.25mg/g, Isopropyl Alcohol 350mg/g

GVP Tick Twister for Pets 2 Piece Small and Large in Clipbox
Tick twister is the easiest and medically preferred method of tick removal and avoids compression of the tick. For Ixodes spp, efficient removal may potentially reduce (neurotoxic) saliva ejection compared to clumsy removal via fingers or forceps.
As the name suggests, the device allows the tick to be grasped and rotated for easier removal. A tick mouthpart (rostrum) has backward angled spines that resist traction. Rotation of the tick allows these spines to disengage from the skin and flatten along the longitudinal axis, allowing the tick to be 'unscrewed' from the skin.
It is a simple one piece durable design, hygienic plastic is easily cleaned, two sizes in each pack (1 small and 1 large) to match size of tick. Convenient carry case - simply clip onto key ring, nurse pouch, backpack, belt or dog lead. Comes in 4 funky colours, blue, green, pink and lilac with recyclable cardboard package - no plastic waste!
PLEASE NOTE: colour preference cannot be guaranteed as we are sent random colours from supplier.

Wound Wax 250gm Honey & Beeswax-based Salve for Dogs & Horses
What is Wound Wax?
Wound Wax is a honey and beeswax-based salve, suitable for topical application in horses and other animals.
Made in Western Australia using honey and beeswax sourced from local apiaries, Wound Wax is a proudly Western Australian owned brand.
The Wound Wax Story: Wound Wax was created by equine veterinarian Dr Thomas Hamilton, who wanted to offer horse and dog owners an alternative to synthetic and corticosteroid creams for the treatment of superficial wounds and grazes. While these products are highly effective and certainly have their place, Tom saw them being over-used in the equine community to treat simple, superficial wounds. He set about creating a gentler, chemical-free wound dressing using the natural healing properties of honey and the soothing qualities of beeswax but without all the mess.
Ingredients:
Honey: Adheres to the skin to form a wound dressing that reduces or prevents contamination, while allowing the body’s own inflammatory exudates to remain in contact with the wound.
Bees Wax: Forms a non-greasy protective barrier that keeps water and dirt out without drying the wound.
Coconut Oil: Provides nourishment and moisture to support natural healing.
Directions for use: Remove crust and debris from the affected area. Dry wound bed prior to applying Wound Wax. If irritation occurs cease using the product and seek veterinary advice.
Frequently Asked Questions:
How do I store Wound Wax? The best place to keep it is in a cool, dry place below 30 degrees centigrade.
When I apply Wound Wax, it isn’t sticking to the wound. What am I doing wrong? Wound Wax is hydrophobic, meaning it is designed to repel water. This means the wound you are trying to apply the salve to needs to be quite dry before you apply Wound Wax to it.
How often should I re-apply Wound Wax? Each wound is different, but as a general rule we suggest you keep the wound clean and re-apply Wound Wax daily.
Is Wound Wax just for wounds? No, not at all. As a nourishing barrier salve, it’s also great for dry irritated skin, superficial grazes, burns, fly bites and much more.
